The pages you see on this site are of designs digitized by member of the Artista-Adventures group at Yahoogroups. 
Every month we have a set category and members digitize a design to fit the category. Participation every month is not necessary and if there is a month in which you can't participate, that's okay, we'll do another the next month, and maybe you can join us then. 

Submitting a design is not a requirement of belonging to the Yahoogroup embroidery list. 

The exchange and sharing of designs will only be between those that have digitized that month's design. If you miss a month of digitizing, you miss that month's design exchange. All designs must be submitted between the first day of the month and the last day of the month. If you miss the deadline, it will be thought that you did not complete that month's work, and will not be in the exchange. 

All finished designs can be uploaded at http://www.artista-adventures.com 

1.] All design must be digitized by you. Do not use any part of someone else's design. It is a copy write violation. 

2.] All files for the month are due before midnight central time on the last day of the month. The download link is then automatically out to those that participated. 

3.] All files must be digitized with the Artista software. Other file formats are not accepted. Send all files in Version 3 Art format. We have many members that have version 3. 
Version 4 and 5 may also be uploaded, but version 3 is a requirement. 
To check your file to make sure it is in version 3, open your software, click once on the file you want to open. Look in the lower right hand corner and it will tell you what version your file is. 
Give your version 3 file a different name and save so that you don't overwrite your original file.

 4.] Files are NOT to be zipped before uploading. 

5.] If you are sending a scan of your sew out or a screen print, please scan your sew out at no more than 150DPI and resize your files. make sure your file is saved as a Jpg. Other files are not accepted by the site. 

6.] All files are to be uploaded at http://artista-adventures.com ..... click on the Contribute link and follow the steps on the page. If your file does not show on the web page, it's because you didn't upload a graphic at the same time. But you should still see a placeholder on the page with your name on it. If you don't see one, then your design didn't upload properly and you should try again. 
If you didn't upload a picture or a scan, then all you will see is your name. I will see that and make the image file for you. 

7.] Please only send your file once. Do all of your tweaking and testing before sending the file. Submit as many designs as you like. 

8.] The deadline is midnight Pacific time on the last day of the month and the link for downloading is sent after the first of the next month.

9.] The download url and the files are not to be shared with anyone. The ladies and gentleman that contribute to the monthly project work hard on their designs so that they can get all of the contributed files at the end of the month. This is the incentive to digitize and use the software. 

10.] If you haven't joined the Artista Adventures group, consider doing so. The members are very helpful and always willing to answer any question you may have.
